The Ste. Anne's Spa yoga class incorporates various yoga poses and relaxation techniques. This beginner's yoga class is designed to enhance your awareness of yoga and its healing benefits. Some benefits may include stress and tension reduction, increased flexibility and union of the mind, body and spirit.
AM YOGA
Whether this is your first exposure to yoga or you are a seasoned practitioner, join us as we bring together body, mind, spirit and speech. Each class is geared to the ‘bodies’ that enter the studio. A class may include vinyasana (flowing movement), asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and sivanasana/meditation (end relaxation). Begin to use the gift of the body as a tool to move inward.
PM YOGA
Begin to move inward and discover that place of inner peace which is your true nature. Using “props” like bolsters, straps, blankets, and blocks, invite your body to shed what is not longer serving you. Moving the body into various supported asana’s and inviting it to open to all that you are. This class is very relaxing and restorative.
