Read moreDo you find that you are under a lot of stress which compromises your immune system and leaves you feeling ‘run down’? Are you around a lot of different people and find you are often ill? Perhaps you experience nasal congestion due to colds or allergies? An Integrated Lymphatic Drainage treatment at Ste. Anne's Spa is just what you need to relieve these symptoms and to promote a healthy body! After a brief discussion with your Ste Anne's Therapist about your health history, your treatment will begin with you lying down on the massage table. A gentle, pumping technique will then be applied to your face, neck and shoulders without any products, to stimulate the lymphatic fluid of your body in the natural direction of flow. The lymphatic system does not have a pump to move the lymphatic fluid around. It is actually the contraction of your muscles that does this for you in your body. This is why exercise is so beneficial for general health. This treatment is very gentle and rhythmic which can lull you into a wonderful state of relaxation. By the end of the treatment you will feel calm, and find that you will breathe easier as well.
